Director of Marketing, Sales Finance

Since 1994, President Rick Thoennes III has been a luxury custom home builder, building custom homes of distinction. Rick was born in Greenville, SC, and has been an active member of the community his entire life. Rick has Bachelors degree from Clemson University. He has developed multiple marketing and promotion campaigns for the construction and real estate industry.

He has custom built and developed multiple communities throughout the Upstate, including the beautiful gated community of Cobblestone in Greenville, SC. Cobblestone is a 150-lot, three-phase development with homes ranging from $500,000 to $1,500,000. The completion of the community also included the construction of a 1.5 million dollar amenity package.

Rick has custom built homes ranging from $200,000 to $3,000,000 in fine communities such as: The Cliffs, Montebello, Cobblestone, Kilgore Plantation, Parkins Mill and various other private estates.

Other notable projects include the $5,000,000 clubhouse at The Cliffs Keowee Vineyards and the show home at The Cliffs Mountain Park community.

Director of Construction

Rick’s construction experience began in 1968 and he has been a licensed General Contractor since 1972. In addition to holding degrees in Accounting and Business Management, Rick also holds contractor’s licenses in several states, including South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, and others that reciprocate with those states. All licenses are categorized as unlimited.

His past projects include over 5,000 rental apartment units as an owner, contractor, and manager. These units were located in Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, and North Carolina. Rich has also constructed luxury condominium units in Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. He developed a portion of the Country Club of Miami in Miami, Florida. Rick’s involvement in commercial projects includes various strip shopping centers and restoration projects in Greenville, SC, as well as several commercial and retail buildings in South Florida. He worked with Rick Thoennes III, developing the luxury gated community of Cobblestone in Greenville, SC, a 150-lot, 3-phase development with homes ranging from $500,000 to $1,500,000. This also includes the construction of the $1.5 million amenity package.

Rick has custom built homes in South Carolina ranging from $350,000 to $2,000,000. Luxury custom home projects include: Cliffs Communities, Montebello, Cobblestone, Kilgore Plantation, Parkins Mill, and various private estates in the Upstate, SC area. Rick’s other projects include 2-38 unit town home projects in Greenville and Travelers Rest, the $5 million clubhouse at The Cliffs Keowee Vineyards, and the show home at the new Cliffs at Mountain Park community.
